This is when it matters most… these are the games that a true football player imagines when he’s rolling out of bed to come the field house during summer workouts, hoping for a chance to show the coaches what he’s made of….this is what you’ve been working for since the first step you took on the field….this is Crunch Time!!! Not many teams get to say they’ve made it to the Regional Quarterfinals….some people aren’t even lucky enough to say they’ve made the playoffs in their whole career….we have the chance of a life time to shock the state and most of all ourselves!!  All year we’ve been underestimated because of size… young players…sophomore quarterback…new positions…just about every reason you can think of…and look where we are now…success like this doesn’t come from pure athleticism…it doesn’t come from the words we speak off the field about our success…it comes from closer reasons than that… it’s a gift from God and the relationships we’ve built throughout the year…it’s the trust we have in each other and our coaches…knowing that no matter what the score board says or how many seconds are left on that clock…you know that the player you have beside you is going to give 100% of his commitment both on and off the field…that he won’t ever be considered a “quitter”!!!  This is why we are still here…we pray together…we play together…and we rise and fall together…we know that we can’t and will not let anybody take this from us but ourselves…it doesn’t matter if you’re an underclassmen or a senior…it doesn’t matter if you’ve ever started or stepped foot on the field…or if you’ve been a starter since freshman year and haven’t missed a snap…we are all in this together and we’ve showed that thus far…we know what it feels like to fall…but we also know how it feels to get right back up and fight through the adversity!!   “Day by day we get better”…we show it by our actions…and I know every person on this team would give their all to go back in revenge to play those “jokers” again…but it’s a “Rough Ol’ Deal”!!!   This is our chance…so “Why not us?”… Take advantage of it now…don’t wait on the next play…or tomorrow…because it’s never promised…it won’t be given to us…so therefore the Corsicana “Boom Squad” Tigers are just going to have to take it!!! I guarantee the Seniors on this team will promise you it comes too fast…one day…more sooner than later…it’s going to be you… you’re going to want every single person on the team to put everything he has into everything we do…it’s a tradition…the people that have come before us…now we have the privilege to give it all back and show that the legacy still lives on…that they didn’t leave their blood, sweat, and tears on the field for it to falter now…your name is being called on…it’s time for you to step up… “CIGO” is not just a saying…it’s is the true meaning of this team!!! So let’s continue to strive to where we want to be…we have gotten this far…why settle for less than what we’ve worked for all year?…Let’s keep it going…we got this as long as we play “Tiger Football!!!” Sacrifice yourself… give the Glory to whom it belongs to!!! So what are you really made of? It starts now…“Dinner Time”… Let’s Eat…
