Corsicana ISD is providing an opportunity for Junior and Senior students to attend the TESTWISE preparation program for the SAT. This is a 32 hour course which addresses all areas of the SAT-mathematics, critical reading, writing, and vocabulary. In each core content class, students review concepts tested on the SAT and learn the test-taking strategies applicable to that section of the test. In addition, students practice with materials developed by the College Board. In the vocabulary class, students learn words that frequently appear on the SAT. Students should see their counselor for additional information, or if they have questions.

Each student receives:

• A notebook containing all the instructional materials used in class;
• The Official SAT Study Guide by the College Board;
• Direct Hits Core Vocabulary of the SAT by Larry Krieger;
• Grammar Smart  TestWise canvas materials case.
