Leeah Seth had two extra base hits, sparking the Corsicana Tigers Varsity to a 3-0 victory in seven innings over Jacksonville on Friday.

She singled in the first inning, homered in the fourth inning, and doubled in the sixth inning.

The Corsicana Tigers Varsity’s Chelsea Vandiver kept Jacksonville off the scoreboard for all seven innings she was on the rubber. She pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on three hits while ringing up five.

Hannah Holcomb ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. She lasted just 7 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed three runs.

The game’s last lead went to the Corsicana Tigers Varsity thanks to a fourth inning rally that saw two runs cross the plate on an RBI double by Vandiver and a solo home run by Seth.
