Following their recent success in Mexia, the CHS Debate team brings home multiple victories from the recent tournament in Crandall. Captain and senior Benjamin Goodrich received first place in the Lincoln-Douglass division, along with junior Gabriel Arredondo receiving third place. The team left CHS at 1:45pm on November 30^th, only returning home after three back-to-back rounds of debate at 12:30am that night. “I was absolutely exhausted, I almost passed out on the bus ride back”, said sophomore Tommy Jenkins, who won two of his rounds despite only having been to one tournament prior to Crandall.
