The talent here at Corsicana High School is truly incredible! Congratulations to all the participants- it was a wonderful and energetic show. There were solos, duets, trios, and different genres of music. From dancing, singing, and instrumental performances, everyone did an amazing job. This year’s talent show was filled with a tone of diversity. CHS students came out to support their classmates. Congratulations to our winners, Elijah Turner and Jamal Coleman who tied for third place; Anagha Nair and sisters,
tied for 2nd, and our winner Javier Zavala. Anagha Nair performed an Indian dance which was beautiful. Her enthusiasm and skill really showed on that stage. The whole time she was up there she had a beautiful smile and great energy. Javier Zavala was one of my favorite performances from the show. He performed a traditional mariachi song. The ability in the voice of this young man is amazing and very soothing. Once he started singing it gave the whole audience chills. Javier went out on stage and owned it. His confidence and passion for singing really shows. Kimora and Lanaiyah Dotson, a duet singing “Little Dragon.” These two girls have amazing vocals. The way their voices synchronized together made their performance stand out. Thank you to our judges and everyone who participated in this year’s talent show.
