From one our students perspective, “Theatre is an onstage representation of life”. Currently, Studio 59 is working on two shows to premiere this October. They will be placing a musical extravaganza that will be performing on October 29th through the 31st on Halloween. They have selected to perform the musical and well-known children’s movie, Peter Pan. Audiences will be able to experience the characters Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, Captain Hook, Wendy, and all the lost boys, mermaids, Indians, and pirates you could imagine. Also, the Theatre crew will be taking on the classic Shakespeare play A Midsummer Night’s Dream. They will be competing with this play at the Texas Renaissance Festival in Plantersville Texas in November. There they will take on other schools around the state. This is just the start to hopefully an amazing season for the studio 59 Corsicana High School Theatre company.
